The boys of fall -Kenny Chesney

When I feel that chill, smell that fresh cut grass/
I'm back in my helmet, cleats and shoulder pads/
Standing in the huddle listening to the call/
Fans going crazy for the boys of fall/
They didn't let just anybody in that club/
Took every ounce of heart and sweat and blood/
To get to wear those game day jerseys down the hall/
Kings of the school man, we're the boys of fall/

(Chorus:)
Well it's turn and face the Stars and Stripes/
It's fighting back them butterflies/
It's call it in the air, alright yes sir we want the ball/
And it's knocking heads and talking trash/
It's slinging mud and dirt and grass/
It's I got your number, I got your back when your back's against the wall/
You mess with one man you got us all/
The boys of fall/

In little towns like mine that's all they got/
Newspaper clippings fill the coffee shops/
The old men will always think they know it all/
Young girls will dream about the boys of fall/

(Chorus:)
Well it's turn and face the Stars and Stripes/
It's fighting back them butterflies/
It's call it in the air, alright yes sir we want the ball/
And it's knocking heads and talking trash/
It's slinging mud and dirt and grass/
It's I got your number, I got your back when your back's against the wall/
You mess with one man you got us all/

Flag football

Flag football season

is upon us!!!

We are in our second year of Kaden playing flag football.

Flag football season  2013

Coach Tony going over the plays with the boys

Kaden running for a touchdown!!!!

I may be his momma, but he is a pretty fast runner.

Kaden's improvement from last year to this year has us just gleaming!

He didn't take the game serious last year...

however, what a difference a year can make!!

and

lots and lots of practice at home!

If we are not riding bikes, riding our scooter, or going on adventures, or climbing trees,

you could find us

throwing the football in the back yard,

playing football with daddy and brothers, and watching football on TV or at big brother Trent's football games.

It's a great improvement...

One we are very proud of him for and

he is quite proud of also!!

So, you will find us on the sidelines...

yelling go kaden go!

It's always fun to encourage our kids!

With all that improvement...

it brought another ...

 TOUCHDOWN!!!!

Go Kaden go!

So far this season has been a lot of fun!!! Kaden scored in his first game of the year...

3 of the 6 touchdowns!!!

7th grade football

Now that school is back in session, and the nights are crisp, and the days are cooler, and the leaves are many pretty shades of red and yellow, that only means fall is in the air!!

Along with the fall season brings football!!!

In this family we hate LOVE football!

Trent is now in junior high football. It was sad to see another one of our boys leave youth football at the end of the season last year. Youth football runs from 4th - 6th grade, so with Blaine and Trent both in the program we spent six years involved.

With watching them move on also meant they are growing up. (insert sad momma face here)

This is Trent's first year playing football as a junior high kid.

This year Trent's number just so happens to be the year I was born. I don't know if you readers are football moms or families, but around here the number you get is pretty big. Although, this isn't the one he wanted ... it holds special meaning to me and I don't forget which one he is. {that never happens}

Cougars are #1

His position is right or left guard.

Trent waits all year for football season to start. He absolutely loves to play this sport.

These pictures are from the first game of the season

Coleman VS Crivitz

Coleman won! Home 20 Away 14

Good job green team!

Football Camp

We signed Kaden up for sports camp at Faith Baptist Church. They have really nice program. You can sign up for football or wrestling. Since it is football time we made the decision to sign Kaden up for football.

He really did enjoy it and learned a lot. I look forward to watching him play flag football this year. If you know us, you already know we are a football playing/loving family. I've noticed some improvements in his skills since camp-- when we toss the ball around in the back yard.

We are a football family!

Yes, we love football and we love our Green Bay Packers!
After all, the pack is America's team!

Every summer before pre season and opening season our beloved packers host a packer family night! This has been a yearly ritual for us. Every year it lands pretty close to Trent's birthday or on the actual day. Which works out great...since he is all about football.

Lambeau field is our favorite place in Wisconsin!!!
